Experience:

Ebube (pronounced aye-boo-bay) is a warm, empathetic therapist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through a trauma-informed, equity-centered lens. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University, graduating magna cum laude. Her clinical approach is rooted in direct practice with a strong foundation in social justice, restorative practices, and holistic mental health care.

With experience across school systems, outpatient mental health, and community-based programs, Ebube is especially committed to creating safe, healing-centered spaces for young people and families navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity development. She has received specialized training through UNC PrimeCare 4 Youth in integrated behavioral health care for children and adolescents, and has completed certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is currently completing training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to further support clients in developing emotional regulation, mindfulness, and effective coping skills. Her professional values are deeply informed by racial equity and restorative practices, with additional training through Organizing Against Racism (OAR) and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. These frameworks guide her in honoring each client’s lived experience and in fostering respectful, culturally responsive relationships.

Meet Anu

Experience:

Anu is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University. With extensive clinical experience, she has developed a strong foundation in providing evidence-based therapy across various settings.

Anu began her career at Babson College’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services and at the Partial Hospitalization Program at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where she gained invaluable experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. Anu then worked as a clinician at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, where she provided intensive therapeutic support to adolescents and adults facing complex mental health challenges. Her work in hospital settings allowed her to specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, severe trauma, and behavioral health crises.

For the past six years, Anu has honed her skills as an outpatient therapist, supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and the lasting effects of trauma. She is deeply committed to creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their struggles and build resilience. Anu’s approach is grounded in a blend of compassionate mindfulness and trauma-informed care, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

More than just my work:

In my spare time, you’ll find me hiking or curled up with a good book. I love to laugh, and I make an amazing peach cobbler. I have an affectionate cat named Shade, who may pop in to say hi to you during a video call!

Experience:

Ty’Kia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Savannah State University. She has experience in acute PHP/IOP programs as well as in domestic violence work. Ty’Kia is passionate about helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem challenges, and other life stressors.

Meet Kaitlyn

Experience:

Kaitlyn is an Advanced MSW student at the University of Central Florida. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from East Carolina University. Then, she began pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work where she is now in her final, clinical, year. Over the past five years, she has completed an internship as a School Social Worker, worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, and worked alongside individuals for a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Initiative. Kaitlyn is very passionate about advancing as a social worker.

Meet Lise-Marie

Experience:

Lise-Marie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina. She obtained a master’s degree in social work (MSW) with a certificate in trauma-responsive care from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology/gender & women’s studies from Grinnell College. Lise-Marie trained at Coastal Horizons Center conducting Intensive Outpatient Therapy for individuals struggling with substance disorder, as well as at The Open Gate/Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, providing client advocacy and empowerment services. She has worked with clients from various cultures, life experiences, and identities who struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, domestic violence/abuse, and psychotic disorders. She also volunteered as COO to launch The Parasol Cooperative; a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting life through innovative technology.
