Meet Ebube
Experience:
Ebube (pronounced aye-boo-bay) is a warm, empathetic therapist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through a trauma-informed, equity-centered lens. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University, graduating magna cum laude. Her clinical approach is rooted in direct practice with a strong foundation in social justice, restorative practices, and holistic mental health care.
With experience across school systems, outpatient mental health, and community-based programs, Ebube is especially committed to creating safe, healing-centered spaces for young people and families navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity development. She has received specialized training through UNC PrimeCare 4 Youth in integrated behavioral health care for children and adolescents, and has completed certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is currently completing training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to further support clients in developing emotional regulation, mindfulness, and effective coping skills.
Her professional values are deeply informed by racial equity and restorative practices, with additional training through Organizing Against Racism (OAR) and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. Meet Joanna
Joanna is a thoughtful, creative, and empathetic therapist-in-training, passionate about helping children and families navigate emotional regulation, school challenges, and identity development. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky, bringing nearly two decades of experience as an educator into her therapeutic work.
Joanna holds a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from North Carolina State University and a Waldorf Handwork Teaching Certificate, with a focus on healing arts pedagogy. Her approach blends experiential, arts-based therapies—including visual and fiber arts, play, and movement—with a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed lens. She creates nurturing, engaging spaces where children build self-awareness, resilience, and self-worth through creative expression and sensory exploration.
She is especially skilled at helping struggling children adapt to classroom settings and supporting parents and caregivers in understanding and advocating for their children’s needs. Lise-Marie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina. She obtained a master’s degree in social work (MSW) with a certificate in trauma-responsive care from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology/gender & women’s studies from Grinnell College. Lise-Marie trained at Coastal Horizons Center conducting Intensive Outpatient Therapy for individuals struggling with substance disorder, as well as at The Open Gate/Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, providing client advocacy and empowerment services.
