I focus on cultivating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable space where you feel supported. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for positive change, helping you move forward with confidence and ease.

Experience: Ty’Kia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Savannah State University. She has experience in acute PHP/IOP programs as well as in domestic violence work. Ty’Kia is passionate about helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem challenges, and other life stressors. Outside of therapy, she enjoys making candles, engaging in community work, and fashion. No matter what, her outfits always look the part.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from East Carolina University. Then, she began pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work where she is now in her final, clinical, year. Over the past five years, she has completed an internship as a School Social Worker, worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, and worked alongside individuals for a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Initiative. Then, she worked as a clinician at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, providing intensive therapy for adolescents and adults. Over the past five years, she has worked as an outpatient mental health therapist working with clients with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, and personality disorders.
