Anu Menon, LCSW is the Founder and Clinical Director of Tamarasa Therapy PLLC, a private practice in Durham, NC dedicated to compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care. She is an experienced therapist and clinical supervisor who supports both clients and fellow therapists in their growth and healing.
With over a decade of experience across hospital, community, outpatient and crisis settings, Anu has developed deep expertise in treating depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and the lasting effects of trauma. She specializes in helping people reduce suicidal thoughts. Her approach integrates mindfulness and self-compassion with trauma-informed talk therapy, blending evidence-based methods with empathy and care. She is committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can build resilience and reconnect with themselves. In addition to her clinical practice, Anu provides supervision and mentorship to therapists seeking to deepen their clinical skills and confidence in trauma-informed care.

You can find joy and peace in your every day. Everyone can benefit from therapy. You don’t need to be at rock bottom to reach out for help. I want to help you to be kinder to yourself, accept what you cannot control and change what you can control.
How I work:
Every person is unique and so is their healing journey. I offer a nonjudgmental space where all identities and relationships are celebrated. My approach is person-centered, and we work together to build the tools you need to pursue the life you want.
What you can expect from me:
I believe that everyone is resilient, but we all need support to find the resiliency within ourselves. Therapy with me will never feel like you’re just another client. I’m a great listener and know what it’s like to work to build compassion for yourself. I’m here to support and guide you through the ebbs and flows in your life and your relationships. And I can always provide a cheesy dad joke to make you smile!
More than just my work:
I like to relax by walking outside, trying local coffee shops and spending time with family and friends. I spend my free time daydreaming about becoming a dog mom!

Sometimes you don’t even have the words to describe how hard it feels, and that’s okay! My approach is meeting each person where they are at. To inform my work, I draw on CBT, IFS, and DBT skills. Meet Ebube
Experience:
Ebube (pronounced aye-boo-bay) is a warm, empathetic therapist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through a trauma-informed, equity-centered lens. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University, graduating magna cum laude. Her clinical approach is rooted in direct practice with a strong foundation in social justice, restorative practices, and holistic mental health care.
With experience across school systems, outpatient mental health, and community-based programs, Ebube is especially committed to creating safe, healing-centered spaces for young people and families navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity development. She has received specialized training through UNC PrimeCare 4 Youth in integrated behavioral health care for children and adolescents, and has completed certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is currently completing training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to further support clients in developing emotional regulation, mindfulness, and effective coping skills.
Her professional values are deeply informed by racial equity and restorative practices, with additional training through Organizing Against Racism (OAR) and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. These frameworks guide her in honoring each client’s lived experience and in fostering respectful, culturally responsive relationships.

Meet Lise
Experience:
Lise-Marie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina. She obtained a master’s degree in social work (MSW) with a certificate in trauma-responsive care from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology/gender & women’s studies from Grinnell College. Lise-Marie trained at Coastal Horizons Center conducting Intensive Outpatient Therapy for individuals struggling with substance disorder, as well as at The Open Gate/Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, providing client advocacy and empowerment services. She has worked with clients from various cultures, life experiences, and identities who struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma, domestic violence/abuse, and psychotic disorders.
